The inserts facilitate a more effective seal between the outside diameter of the pipe and the O-ring of your fitting, this helps to make the pipe more rigid when a side load is applied. The pipe inserts are easy and quick to use, simply push in securely to your pipework end after cutting to length and then add your connection fitting for a watertight fit. The pipe inserts are compatible with John Guest 12mm outside diameter, semi-rigid pipework and are suitable for use with hot and cold water and central heating systems.
